Meteor 1.0

Ry

It’s an exciting day at Differential. Our favorite application development framework, Meteor, has gone 1.0

This signals to the world that Meteor is ready for primetime. If you've been waiting on the sidelines, and are ready to jump in, now is the time.

On November 6th the world celebrates the arrival of 1.0 via Meteor Day. In Cincinnati, we have a 4-hour "Dev Shop" prior to the formal event, where our Meteor experts will be on hand to get you up and running.

Meteor has revamped their brand and website, including a page that breaks Meteor’s innovations into components, a new tutorial, a professional services page, and I'm not sure if it's new, but there is a great page that highlights all the world's Meteor Meetups.

We now have 10+ Meteor developers on staff at Differential, and we're continuing to grow that team rapidly. If you need help, we are standing by

Congratz MDG — and thanks for all your hard work getting to this day!

Also — want to shout out to the awesome community who has contributed countless hours to the cause, including Josh Owens, Tom Coleman, Sacha Grief, Chris Mather, Arunoda Susiripala, Sam Hatoum, Michael Risse, Zoltan Olah, Robert Dickert, Abigail Watson, David Burles, Gadi Cohen, Ciara Burkett, Gabriel Pugliese, Andrew Mao — and all my colleagues at Differential who have dove the depths of Meteor including Gerard Sychay, Greg Nieheisel, David Pearce, and Colin Flynn (and all the new people too!)
